Club Computer System Upgrade07-Sep-2015
The club is currently working on the implementation of a new computer system to manage competitions and handicapping. We will be moving to the Micropower Power Plus Golf in the next few weeks. Micropower is the provider of our current competition system as well as our member management and financial management systems.
As with any system implementation there will be some disruption. We will try to keep this to a minimum and keep you informed of the progress however we ask for your patience during this time.
The system is scheduled to go live on Tuesday 29 September and members will see a number of changes:-
New Score cards
The club will now print score cards as players register in the competition.
- Entering scores
Players will continue to enter scores hole by hole in the kiosk however you will enter you score using a unique number printed on your score card rather than searching by name. The new system has the capacity to scan cards and we will be looking to introduce this feature at a later stage.
Member Portal and On-line Tee Time Booking
The system comes with a number new features which the club has not been able to offer before. This includes the introduction of a new member portal on our web page where members are able to book tee times as an alternative to phoning the pro shop. The member portal will also include a leader board were members can view competition standing in near real time.
To access the member portal members will have a unique logon and password which will initially be set to the member number and date of birth. An confirmation of these details will be sent to members who have an email address recorded on our system.
