Hurstville Golf Course Allocated $2.5 million

On Thursday 28 June, Premier Gladys Berejiklian, Minister for Local Government the Hon. Gabriel Upton and Member for Oatley Mark Coure announced that Georges River Council will receive funding of $9.5 million to assist with major capital works projects throughout the local area.

Over the last 3 years the Golf Club has been discussing Course and Building upgrades and is pleased to announce that of the $9.5 million, $2.5million together with a contribution of around $400,000 from Hurstville Golf Club will be allocated for a new Golf Course Pavilion, new greens and safe pathways at Hurstville Golf Course.

Council is looking forward to delivering these significant projects over the coming 18 months and will work closely with the relevant sporting associations and the Golf Club to deliver quality facilities to the community.
