Hurstville Member wins 2019 NSW Veteran Golf Strokeplay Nett Championship

Congratulations to Matthew Kumjew, who this week won the 2019 NSW Veteran Golf Strokeplay Nett Championship.

The 54 hole State Championship was scheduled to be held at Richmond Golf Course, Glenmore Heritage Golf Course and Stonecutters Golf Course.  The event was reduced to two days after rain caused the Richmond round to be cancelled.  138 golfers from across NSW participated in the championship.

Matt had rounds of 69-69 (138) to claim the Nett title, two shots ahead of second place on 68-72 (140).  Matt also finished in equal 1st place in the B Grade Scratch Championship but competitors can only win one title.
