We will have three divisions:

  • Women
  • Men 1 - 18
  • Men 19 - 36

$50 prize money will be paid to the winner of each division.

Entry is free for this first eclectic competition to encourage everybody to participate.  This is also because this will be our first attempt at running an eclectic using our current competition system and there might be a few initial surprises with how the system handles it.

We will be running eclectic competitions for Tuesday and Saturday competitions during 2017 once we are more comfortable with how the system handles the competition.   We may introduce a small entry fee for future eclectics which will be used to fund prizes.

What is an Eclectic?

An Eclectic is a stroke completion that is played over multiple rounds.  The lowest score obtained on each hole on rounds played during the competition period is put together to create an 18 hole score.

The total score is subject to a deduction of ½ the player’s daily handicap on the last day of the competition. The lowest stroke score after handicap adjustment is the winner.

If you wipe a hole in a stableford round, the round still counts and you can improve your score on that hole next time you play.
