Notice of AGM Meeting changes- COVID-19

NOTICE is hereby given that the 15th Annual General Meeting of Members of Hurstville Golf Club Inc. will not be held in 2020. The NSW Government through Fair Trading have advised that Associations may conduct their 2020 AGM when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted or present 2020 financial information to members at the 2021 AGM.


In order to comply with Fair Trading guidelines the committee will not be holding an AGM this year but will however issue all current members with a 2020 Annual Report that will include reports by the President, the Club Captain, and the Treasurer, along with an unaudited financial summary for the financial year 2019/2020. The Club has engaged an auditor who has advised that the audit report will not be available until almost Christmas, due to Covid-19 issues. The full financials and the audit report for 2019/2020 and the 2020/2021 financial years will be presented at the 2021 Annual General Meeting.


Minutes of the 2019 Annual General Meeting will also be included with the release of the Annual Report.  

The current General Committee has agreed to remain in place until the 2021 Annual General meeting, these positions are:

Assistant Treasurer – Graeme Boulton
Secretary – Jeffrey Fairbairn
Captain – Peter Greig
Vice-Captain – Todd Shaw
Member – David Hancock
Member – Mark Ruiz

Member – Michael Costello
Member – Steve Osborne. 

We believe all members will understand these changes under the current pandemic situation and the committee would like to thank members for their understanding at this time.
